Nike Air Yeezy 2 Wolf Grey – DETAILED IMAGES

FINALLY! After months of speculation, quick shots, rumors, and drooling we finally have detailed images of the Nike Air Yeezy 2 in the Wolf Grey colorway. Let me start by saying these shoes definitely live up to the hype times ten. Scheduled to release April 13th at select accounts (still waiting for confirmation from Beaverton) these are going to be THE drop of 2012. The details are endless and its hard to know where to start. An Egyptian Horus on the tongue is the centerpiece of sorts but the shoes also feature a very prominent snake theme. Add to that the 3M front portion, the tech challenge style midsole, hieroglyphics under the strap, and a detailed logo dust bag the ‘cray’ just keeps coming. I’m not a camper but I know I gotta get my hands (feet) on these! Check the pics below and let me know your thoughts.

 

Nike SB Dunk High – Deep Burgundy Black

All the hype on the Premier Nike SB Dunk Low for April has a lot of people talking about Nike SB again. While we’re on the topic today we take a look at a SB Dunk High that is also set to DROP in April. This Dunk is very reminiscent of the Plums that came out last summer but a little nicer to me. Featuring an upper of primarily Deep Burgundy suede these will go great with your favorite pair of denim and add a little pop. The leather quarter panel and toe boxes is done in a smooth plum leather and its capped off with a black swoosh and tongue tag for a little bit of contrast. All of this is sitting on top of a signature white midsole blending into a tonal black outsole. Premier x Nike SB Dunk Low FIRST FULL PICS!?!

Hitting all the usual web spots today is the preview of the Nike SB Dunk Low collab with Michigan skate shop Premier. The pics show a white and icey blue upper with the fat tongue, black branding hit, and 3 sets of laces in blue, white, and black. They also show an icey sole made famous on recent Jordan Retro releases. With the help of some sleuthing by Zack (@neilyoungsvoice) over at Ahoodie I have come across what could be a full preview of the dunk low courtesy of sneakernews and their 2012 Dunk Low SB preview post from November. The majority of the upper appears to be done in a rich leather with a ‘bubble’ like texture. Its almost like a tumbled leather but at the same time not. The rest of the upper is finished out with a black midpanel and white swoosh. Only time will tell if this pic is the true release but if so would you cop? Comment below and let us know!

Nike Air Yeezy 2 Pure Platinum Release Date!

The Yeezy news just keeps coming! According to The Shoe Game the Pure Platinum version of Kanye West’s second signature shoe will release on April 13th for a retail price of $250 (ouch). This color would be the counterpart of the ‘Zen Grey” Yeezy 1 that was my personal favorite of the bunch. For many this comes as great news after so much back and forth information on the release. It’s a bit of a relief to have a date to look forward to somewhat. These will be a tough cop for sure & we still need to hear 100% from Nike but I am sure people are already loading up their tents and sleeping bags now. No word yet on release locations or if it will be available online. Stay tuned for more Yeezy madness and take a look at the best pic we have seen so far below.

 

 

 

Air Jordan IV Black Cement – Holiday 2012

You knew it was coming. Given the trend set by Jordan brand in 2011 with the IIIs we all expected a ton of the classic IVs to return in 2012. Word is out that one of the most popular Jordan’s of all time will hit retailers in November 2012, presumably on Black Friday. The Jordan Black Cement IV is a shoe that just says Michael Jordan to me. Its one of the first shoes I always think of when I first think of the brand. Featuring all over black with red and cement grey highlights these just scream Bulls. Given the constant hype that has been being built by Nike this year I am sure these will be a tough cop. More news to come as official images drop later in the year but take a look at a taste below.

 

Nike Air Yeezy 2 Purple/Red?

In a surprise twist a new colorway of the Nike Air Yeezy 2 popped up on Nike Talk yesterday. Featuring an all purple upper with red and voltish highlighting these are an interesting look for the most highly anticipated shoe of the year. The cubic gold lace aglets are an interesting look as well. These have an almost Christmas 2011 Kobe feel to them. Only time will tell if this is a sample or an official colorway. What do you think?

Jay-Z Spotted in Yeezy 2

The hype continues to grow for the highly anticipated Nike Air Yeezy 2. Jay-Z was seen courtside at the Nets game last night wearing the Black/Solar Red colorway of the instant classic people are already camping out for ahead of an actual release date. There have been rumors that these are coming soon and also rumors of a delayed release to produce more pairs and avoid the Galaxy Foam craziness. Given the popularity of both Nike right now and Kanye, I don’t think Beaverton could make enough pairs to avoid the madness. Take a look at the pic below for more. Jordan XIV ‘Candy Cane’ Release Reminder

Tomorrow night/Saturday morning Jordan brand breaks out another classic for some. The Jordan XIV Candy Cane as its known will hit Nikestore and online retailers like Footlockerat at midnight eastern. Reportedly more limited than the previously released Jordan X Chicago that sold out almost instantly it will be interesting to see how these move. This model was the last model ever worn by the GOAT before his retirement 1999. Designed by Tinker Hatfield as usual the inspiration was Mike’s Ferrari at the time and the shoe features a similar shape and feel to the Italian sports cars. I tend to gravitate more towards earlier models of Jordans but from a performance aspect these are one of the best. Planning to cop these this weekend? Comment below with your thoughts!
