The Japanese boys are at it again. Many people remember and still seek out the various atmos Nike Air Max 1 collaborations of years past. There is the og safari look of 2003, animal print of 2006, and blue/black elephant print in 2007 that are all grail status for various Nike collectors worldwide. Looking at that lexicon its not surprise that atmos’ latest Nike collaborations are not only Air Max 1s but also just as loud as their predecessors. This time atmos is combining two of today’s hottest trends in streetwear, camo and animal print, to dress the model and do so on two separate pairs scheduled for release. The first pair is a primarily army camo pair that features the green and black camo contrasted with a black shiny snakeskin material for the toebox and upper quarter sitting atop a white midsole and black outsole. The pair is loud and sure to turn heads but in my opinion calm compared to the second from the pack. That pair features a desert camo print on the quarter and toebox with a contrasting leopard print in what appears to be a horsehair like material for the rest of the shoe other than the same white midsole/black outsole combo. History would tell us that the shoes will more than likely feature some sort of branded insoles as well. Fans of muted style need not apply for these neck breakers. Release information is not yet concrete but these will have tons of hype surrounding them when they drop. Are you all in for the trend mixing Japanese duo? Take a look at the below pics and let me know your thoughts!
Wow, those are…..um….interesting! 🙂 Nice post though!
