Le Coq Sportif is a French brand that IMO doesn’t get enough love here in the states. Other than sponsoring the Chicago Bulls’ Joakim Noah you just don’t see much from them in the US yet their popularity soars in countries like Japan and Korea as well as their native France. Taking advantage of the surge in popularity of 90s retro runners the brand is bringing back their Flash model which is sure to please fans worldwide. These shoes haven’t released to market in nearly 25 years and is returning this month. The model reemerges in strong fashion with a pair of colorways perfect for warmer weather. The first is a silver/grey/purple/black makeup featuring synthetic suede for most of the upper and a shiny smooth mesh on the toe box and quarter overlay. Its a primarily basic tone with the purple used as highlights on the midsole, logo, and base of the lace section. The second pair uses an identical makeup only swapping out the purple hits with royal blue. Its a perfect throwback to the 90s and sure to please.
