Sorry for a few days off of the blog here, life got in the way of hobby! Today we take a look at a shoe that I originally wasn’t feeling when I saw the first images but with these new crisp pics is worth another look. Its the Nike Dunk SB Mid Patagonia. Nike SB has continued with its “strapless” look to its SBs and I am definitely not complaining. The shoe features more of the outdoor theme so popular right now with earthy colors and materials. This one also features metal eyelets from top to bottom. The ankle cuff and toe feature a brown leather while the toe box and main panel have a green canvas that looks both clean and rugged at the same time. The outsole features the recently updated dunk sole in a black color with red highlights. Completing the look is some thick red laces and a khaki/gold swoosh. These are rumored to DROP in December and would be a great surprise in any sneakerhead’s stocking!

Today we take a look at one of my most anticipated DROPs of the end of 2011. The Nike Dunk Low SB Entourage pays tribute to the final season of the extremely popular and critically acclaimed HBO series Entourage. The shoe was originally made as a friends and family release with the Entourage logo on the tongue tag and an all black outsole. This version that will release features a gum outsole which I personally think is an improvement. The shoe also features an all black upper with the popular elephant print that Nike is all over these days. Some have referred to this as a “murdered out” version of the Dunk Low Supreme which featured a similar print in grey/black. These are set to DROP on black friday which is fitting given the color scheme. Watch for them at your local Nike SB retailer. I know I will be getting mine at Subsect Skateshop here in Des Moines!

This update contains one of the more unique DROPs we have featured this far, the Nike SB Janoski “Wino” release. This shoe has been see for months as a sample and it wasn’t quite determined if it was going to release. Word is out that it will DROP next month to select Nike SB retailers. When these first showed up in sample form most of the blogs referred to the stains as blood rather than wine until it was cleared up with pics of the cork on the insoles and the fact that the shoe’s namesake Stefan Janoski has parents that own a winery. The shoe itself features a cream canvas base with a wine red swoosh and splatters sitting atop a white vulc sole. I know a lot of people are awaiting this unique DROP next month.
