The Yeezy news just keeps coming! According to The Shoe Game the Pure Platinum version of Kanye West’s second signature shoe will release on April 13th for a retail price of $250 (ouch). This color would be the counterpart of the ‘Zen Grey” Yeezy 1 that was my personal favorite of the bunch. For many this comes as great news after so much back and forth information on the release. It’s a bit of a relief to have a date to look forward to somewhat. These will be a tough cop for sure & we still need to hear 100% from Nike but I am sure people are already loading up their tents and sleeping bags now. No word yet on release locations or if it will be available online. Stay tuned for more Yeezy madness and take a look at the best pic we have seen so far below.

We are well into the new year and the folks in Beaverton are on an absolute tear. Part of that tear is this new Air Max 1 that is said to be part of a Nike Track & Field Collection. This collection is inspired by and paying tribute to Athletics West & Steve Prefontaine. Featuring a simple two tone color blocking of black and reflective 3M material these are perfect for the spring rainy season approaching in many locales. No exact release date is known but comment below if these are a cop for you!

Here we take a look at a Nike Sportswear offering that focuses on a sport you don’t hear a ton about in the sneaker game: Lacrosse. This bright version of the classic 90s runner is sure to snap necks this spring with its blue and lime hits and awesome argyle lining. I am a sucker for argyle and will definitely be waiting for this one to DROP. Thanks to InsideLacrosse.com for the heads up on this release.

Today’s kicks: Nike Air Max 1 black/scuba blue

Here we take a look at a new Air Max 90 that is starting to DROP at retailers. This is the Air Max 90 Black/WhiteVolt. The shoe features a primarily black upper featuring leather and mesh in all the right places. The highlights are the volt outsole, max air unit, and air max hit while the eyelets and swoosh are completed in white. Finishing off this totally 80s look is a multi colored Nike hit on the tongue tag. This particular tongue tag is a newer detail with NSW and I have to say this is the first shoe I think it actually works well on. Is this totally 80s AM90 for you? See more pictures over at NiceKicks.

Today we take a look at a great Air Max 1 colorway that DROPPED this spring. I was going through a bunch of random blogs last night and came across this one that I had loved when I first saw it but forgotten so I figured I would publish a reminder for all of us. The shoe features a canvas upper in a honeycomb yellow with a white midsole. The thing that really makes this shoe pop in my opinion is the blue spark outsole. The colors seem like an odd pairing but somehow just work. They are perfect with a pair of camo shorts and a tee or some dark denim going into fall. Definitely wish I would have added these to the catalog back in April. They are still floating around for just above retail at places like Flight Club.
