Surprise surprise, Europe has another sick retro runner on its hands! Here we take a look at the Solebox x Saucony Shadow 5000. The German shop Solebox is no stranger to collabs and personally I have liked almost everything I have seen them DROP. For this one they once again look to the Saucony Shadow 5000 for their canvas and create 2 great works of art. The first pair features a primarily black and white make-up of suede with pink hits on the eyelets and lining. This pair is versatile enough to wear with anything while still adding a little pop with the pink. The second shoe of the pack is a little louder featuring a black and pink make up in the same suede with the pink appearing on the toe cap similar to Ronnie Fieg’s Salmon Toe Asics from last month. This pair still features enough black to be very versatile but are you man enough to rock the pink? It is breast cancer awareness month after all! As per usual these will more than likely be limited in numbers and reach when they DROP but if any German heads want to send a pair my way I’d be happy to return the favor!(thanks to SneakerNews for the pics/info)

I will start with a little background. I can’t stand Jeremy Scott designs. I think the wings, bones, bears, and what ever else he throws on Adidas have no place in sneaker design. That being said I think these may be the worst iteration yet. I mean just because someone puts something on a sneaker and makes it expensive does not mean it is cool. I am sure we will see these on the feet of celebrities like Lil Wayne soon enough though. SMH!

Here we take a look at yet another photo of the Yeezy 2s set to DROP early next year. While Ye’s look here isn’t quite awesome the Yeezy 2s appear to be on point. Featuring a black/lime palette and another large strap these are sure to be a hype machine when they DROP. Are you counting down the days?

Sorry for a few days off of the blog here, life got in the way of hobby! Today we take a look at a shoe that I originally wasn’t feeling when I saw the first images but with these new crisp pics is worth another look. Its the Nike Dunk SB Mid Patagonia. Nike SB has continued with its “strapless” look to its SBs and I am definitely not complaining. The shoe features more of the outdoor theme so popular right now with earthy colors and materials. This one also features metal eyelets from top to bottom. The ankle cuff and toe feature a brown leather while the toe box and main panel have a green canvas that looks both clean and rugged at the same time. The outsole features the recently updated dunk sole in a black color with red highlights. Completing the look is some thick red laces and a khaki/gold swoosh. These are rumored to DROP in December and would be a great surprise in any sneakerhead’s stocking!

Below we take a look at a new DROP from NSW that continues the sneakers with boot features style we have seen the past few years. This comes by way of the Nike Sky Force 88 Mid. This shoe was in the spotlight recently with the Stussy collaboration seen HERE. This pack features two muted colors and great suede perfect for fall/winter styles. The first is a nice burgundy color with cream midsoles and a brown outsole. The hiker look is completed with a grey wool ankle cuff and metal eyelets and d-rings. The other Sky Force in this pack is all the same materials but with a black suede upper, white midsole, and grey outsole. These have already DROPped across the pond and we hope they will DROP stateside soon. Head over to SneakerNews for more pics.

Here we take a look at a new Air Max 90 that is starting to DROP at retailers. This is the Air Max 90 Black/WhiteVolt. The shoe features a primarily black upper featuring leather and mesh in all the right places. The highlights are the volt outsole, max air unit, and air max hit while the eyelets and swoosh are completed in white. Finishing off this totally 80s look is a multi colored Nike hit on the tongue tag. This particular tongue tag is a newer detail with NSW and I have to say this is the first shoe I think it actually works well on. Is this totally 80s AM90 for you? See more pictures over at NiceKicks.

This morning in the gym I put on one of my standbys Hudson Mohawke of LuckyMe family. The Glasgow producer has been just killing it the past few years and his style is right up my alley mixing 90s hip hop and digital soundbites among other things. This particular mix is for the Numbers series on Rinse FM. It features a great 60 minute ish set that DROPs all sorts of goodies on us. Also in this link are mixes from Pleasure Principle and Spencer. I highly recommend this one for any setting that you want your head bobbing. Check it out HERE!
