I love these more every time I wear them. When combined with a pair of Stance socks the comfort level is just unmatchable. The premium suede cranberry color always turns heads too. I can honestly say I am a fan of nearly every New Balance in the J.Crew line. Let me know what you think and grab your own pair HERE.

If you follow sneakers at all you know that Nike’s Roshe Run was the surprise hit of 2012 with tons of colors and styles selling out worldwide. Continuing on that model of low price point and extreme comfort Nike is pumping out the Solarsoft line at record pace this year. So far we have seen the standard moccasin and woven moccasin in a variety of colors and materials and that doesn’t appear to be stopping anytime soon. Featuring the super comfortable solarsoft outsole these are a perfect summer shoe for whatever you may get yourself into. The uppers are of varying material as the standard has a light weight mesh upper while the wovens feature suede or leather uppers giving a more refined look. I have a few pairs and have noticed that the insole is almost identical to the Roshe Run but is sewn in vs easily removable like in the Roshe. Either way the no sock gang can rest easy as these are perfect for letting your feet breathe. I personally like the woven look the best and have picked up the navy suede colorway as well as the limited Year of the Snake makeup. Given that the shoe was designed by the same designer as the Yeezy 2 its no surprise these are a hit with sneaker fans of all shapes and sizes. Plenty of sizes & styles are available from Nike right HERE. Do you plan to pick up a few pairs? Check out some other examples after the jump and let us know in the comments below!

Busted out the New Balance 999 SEALS by Concepts. Zanerobe pants work great with these too. Always love the premium NB collabs

In honor of today’s Jordan Retro III ’88 release (4:51pm EST via Nike twitter link if you’re looking) we take a look at another classic coming soon. Here we have the Jordan Retro High OG in the Black and Royal colorway. The Jordan 1 has been dressed in about a thousand different colorways and shapes but nothing quite tops the original colorways in the High. These shoes started something never seen before in basketball kicks, a signature shoe not in the player’s team colors. Comprised of an all leather, two tone upper the formula is flawless. Sitting on the typical white midsole and then blue outsole its just an all around complete package perfect for any look. The big deal with this particular release is the return of “Nike Air” on the tongue versus the Jumpman logo that has been occupying that spot for several years. Jordan heads are rejoicing at this return as its the closest retro to the original ever released. These will be DROPPING at Nike and other Jordan accounts next Saturday the 16th and are sure to sell out with the quickness. Will you be picking up this piece of history? Take a look at a few more pics and let us know in the comments!

J. Crew is no stranger to collaborations. A quick glance at their online store shows collaborations on everything from boots and sneakers to backpacks and jackets as well. Personally I feel that incorporating their distinguished looks into other brand’s merchandise is a great way for J.Crew to stay relevant across many different segments of consumers. We all know that “sneakerheads” are a huge segment of consumers that is growing every day and this most recent release from J.Crew will please a lot of us. As you can see above I am referring to the most recent New Balance collaboration, this time on the 998 model that has been seeing a resurgence over the past few years. The model was previously only available in Japan but I know I am happy to see it stateside again. This particular combination features a great color combo that will work with just about anything you happen to be rocking at the time. The upper is covered predominantly in a two tone brownish suede that appears just as plush as the materials used on the popular 1400 collaborations by the brands in 2012. Giving the DROP some pop is a royal blue N logo and more royal blue branding on the tongue. Sitting atop a predominantly white midsole with yet another royal blue hit that continues on to the outsole these are just total stunters in every way. The build shines with Made in the USA craftsmanship that gives a premium feel before you even get them on your feet. These are currently available exclusively through jcrew.com (here) and will be popping up at their stores across the country as well. What are your thoughts on this new makeup by the two powerhouse brands? Let me know in the comments below. Mega shouts to Vagrant Sneaker for the always stunning photos.

New Balance is back. Not that it ever went anywhere but the surge in popularity of retro runners has definitely boded well for the Brighton Mass company that specializes in premium craftsmanship on everything from retro runners to modern day tech. Here we take a look at a new colorway of the 670 model. This is a model that has typically had more popularity in Europe that the United States and shares a lot of attributes with the New Balance staple 574. The 670 has also been featured in several high profile collaborations with such brands as Wood Wood, Hanon, and Norse Projects. This makeup comes in a familiar colorway of navy, red, and white we have seen on many models recently. The majority of the upper is a semi rough navy suede that gives that always premium feel to New Balance releases. Subtle highlights come in the form of a one piece rubberized “N”, heel cup, and encap in a darker shade of red. All this sits atop a white midsole and all black outsole. While very similar to the 574 overall these shoes have a less rugged feel with the smoothed out traction bars on the outsole and a more streamlined shape. The official model name for this shoe is the 670SNR where the S refers to the 3 pack of these that will release this spring at New Balance accounts. Will this returning model surpass the ever popular 574 in 2013? Only time will tell but take a look at the pics below and let me know your thoughts!
