The retro runner game is not just for Europe anymore and I for one couldn’t be happier! Below is the new collab from Boston’s Bodega and Saucony. Saucony is another brand that is known for running but has been gaining street cred with its collaborations with popular retailers like Berlin’s Solebox. The Bodega x Saucony Elite Grid 9000 pack features more great fall colors that can carry straight through to spring. The first pair features blue, grey, and purple with a gum sole that all just flow perfectly. These would be great with some khakis or your favorite pair of denim.

The next pair features a slightly toned down set of the same colors sans the purple. This pair doesn’t pop as much to me but is still a neck breaker in its own right.

Look for both pairs at Grand Rapids’ Premier or your favorite Saucony spot. Shouts to SneakerNews for the story.

Of all time? Probably either the Jordan VI black infrared or the Jordan V Grape. Possibly the Burn Rubber New Balance but I have never seen it in person

Anyone else as excited as me for the return of HBOs How To Make It In America? This show revolves around the lives and adventures of two friends trying to “make it” by DROPPING a new denim brand called Crisp in New York. The friends are your typical 20 something hype followers that saw the opportunity to stop working for the man and make it on their own. I know many of us dream of the same thing someday. Watch for it on HBO returning October 2nd.

Today we take a look at an amazing throwback New Era California Angels fitted cap. This DROP is a look back at the ‘71-‘73 seasons in the Golden State and the cap features their trademark navy and crimson colorway with an outline of the state and a star around Los Angeles/Anaheim. Sitting atop the state is the Angels halo completing the design. The grey underbill and tonal MLB hit on the back are sure to make this one a fan favorite for Angels fans and fitted fans alike. Thanks to Strictly Fitteds for the heads up on this one.

As mentioned yesterday New Balance has really been killing it lately. Today brings more of the same with this group of 4 ML574s starting to hit retailers. The ML574 is a more rugged version of their standard 574 retro runner. This pack features a whole bunch of fall looks with something for everyone. Two of these feature the popular boot look with ripstop toe boxes and corded laces while the other two feature more classic looks. I am definitely feeling that orange and blue pair which has an ACG type feel to it. (oops did I just compare across brands?) Which DROP is your favorite? Remember the late 80s and early 90s? I remember my parents making me leave my Starter Hornets jacket in the car when we were at the mall!

I would have to say that from a clothing standpoint The Hundreds is my personal favorite brand right now for a lot of reasons. I love their 80s attitude, color palate, and art work but I also love the way they go about things and approach their audience. Their footwear line has been a HUGE success in the current trend of vulc soles and lifestyle shoes. I like them but still lean more towards athletic kicks. This new boot pack for fall has definitely caught my attention though! Featuring 3 of their popular silhouettes (all named after cali baseball players) the Johnson, Wayne, and Riley this pack is perfect for the change in seasons. It showcases classical hiking boot styling with brown leather, gum soles, and those well known red laces. Click through to check out more photos featured on NiceKicks and watch for these at your favorite The Hundreds Footware retailers soon!

The upcoming Jordan retro releases continue to pile up! They are snapping necks and emptying bank accounts of sneakerheads young and old alike. Announced today is the first retro release of the historic Jordan IV in the White/Cement colorway since 1999! This is a color that is timeless and put Jordans on a lot of people’s radar back when originally released. Tinker Hatfield hit a home run back in ‘88 on his second Jordan design with the lightweight mesh and speckled midsole previously unseen on basketball shoes at the time. This highly anticipated release will DROP on 2/18/12 just in time for a late Valentines gift to the sneaker lover in your life. 2011 was the year of the III and 2012 looks to be the year of the IV! One note on the release is the $10 price increase from the $150 standard retro pricing. This is to be expected with Nike’s plans to increase profits over the coming year. Thanks to the peeps over at Modern Notoriety for the heads up.
