Sweet new ad for Jordan Brand

Popping up over on NiceKicks today we see the upcoming colorways of the popular runner from Nike the Air Pegasus ‘92. This group of DROPs features a lot of outdoors inspired colorways and materials that just seem to be showing up everywhere right now. The first is a cream/blue/orange makeup that is obviously inspired by the popular Moab ACG colorway. Its the brightest of the 4 and will probably be the most successful DROP. I really enjoy the second shoe shown below in the brown/violet/copper makeup as I am always a sucker for purple hits on shoes. These will start making their way to retailers in the coming months. Head over to the NiceKicks link to see more pics. Which DROP will you COP?

My fit from Friday night’s dinner party with our friends Christopher and Leah. The Hundreds Thurston button up in teal/purple, WESC Marwin Raw Selvedge Denim in dark indigo, HUF Circle H Windbreaker black/blue, True Era fitted in grey wool/purple, & Nike Dunk High SB Unheaven’s Gate. (sorry for the blurry pic)

Today we take a look at a new DROP from Nike that in my opinion comes out of left field. Seen below is the Nike Dunk High Deconstruct. This is a new series from Nike that was also seen on the Air Force 1 and strips the shoe down to only its suede outer. The reason this DROP is so crazy to me is that Nike has always been a performance first company. All of their shoes outside of the lifestyle lines have always been “sport ready” so to speak. These suede kicks don’t appear to provide enough support for any type of sport but they do look like a perfect style compliment for a relaxed look. The tonal colorways and gum sole are a perfect pairing with the lightly structured suede. Adding details to these are the interior branding on the tongue and the Nike logo-ed aglets add some pop. Think any other models will pop up? Would be really interesting to see how this treatment works on some of the classic runners in the Nike catalog. Watch for these to DROP next summer and thanks to SneakerNews for the pics.

Today’s kicks: Nike All Court High

Below we take a look at a new DROP from NSW that continues the sneakers with boot features style we have seen the past few years. This comes by way of the Nike Sky Force 88 Mid. This shoe was in the spotlight recently with the Stussy collaboration seen HERE. This pack features two muted colors and great suede perfect for fall/winter styles. The first is a nice burgundy color with cream midsoles and a brown outsole. The hiker look is completed with a grey wool ankle cuff and metal eyelets and d-rings. The other Sky Force in this pack is all the same materials but with a black suede upper, white midsole, and grey outsole. These have already DROPped across the pond and we hope they will DROP stateside soon. Head over to SneakerNews for more pics.

Here we take a look at a new Air Max 90 that is starting to DROP at retailers. This is the Air Max 90 Black/WhiteVolt. The shoe features a primarily black upper featuring leather and mesh in all the right places. The highlights are the volt outsole, max air unit, and air max hit while the eyelets and swoosh are completed in white. Finishing off this totally 80s look is a multi colored Nike hit on the tongue tag. This particular tongue tag is a newer detail with NSW and I have to say this is the first shoe I think it actually works well on. Is this totally 80s AM90 for you? See more pictures over at NiceKicks.

Today we take a look at a great Air Max 1 colorway that DROPPED this spring. I was going through a bunch of random blogs last night and came across this one that I had loved when I first saw it but forgotten so I figured I would publish a reminder for all of us. The shoe features a canvas upper in a honeycomb yellow with a white midsole. The thing that really makes this shoe pop in my opinion is the blue spark outsole. The colors seem like an odd pairing but somehow just work. They are perfect with a pair of camo shorts and a tee or some dark denim going into fall. Definitely wish I would have added these to the catalog back in April. They are still floating around for just above retail at places like Flight Club.

As the weather changes so do the sneaker releases. Here we take a look at the updated versions of Nike’s Air Force 1 Duckboot. This is an interesting hybrid from Nike combining the classic styling of their air force 1 silhouette with a traditional duckboot form and functionality. These first kicks come in a beechtree and dark army colorway with a full gum sole that really pops.  Personally this full gum sole make these the best version yet. Also featuring gum but only on the outsole is a second pair in a black/beige colorway. These are still great looking kicks but don’t quite have as rugged of a feel looking more like a sneaker than a boot. Which pair is your favorite? Watch for them to start popping up at retailers this fall and Nikestore in the next week or so. Images courtesy of Underground Soles.

This update contains one of the more unique DROPs we have featured this far, the Nike SB Janoski “Wino” release. This shoe has been see for months as a sample and it wasn’t quite determined if it was going to release. Word is out that it will DROP next month to select Nike SB retailers. When these first showed up in sample form most of the blogs referred to the stains as blood rather than wine until it was cleared up with pics of the cork on the insoles and the fact that the shoe’s namesake Stefan Janoski has parents that own a winery. The shoe itself features a cream canvas base with a wine red swoosh and splatters sitting atop a white vulc sole. I know a lot of people are awaiting this unique DROP next month.
